In episode one of By Invite Only our host, Laura Bell attends an underground supper club hosted by chef Travis Petersen who combines fine dining with cannabis. MIX Society was lucky enough to be Travis’ 1000th diner and we got to find out why cooking with weed is becoming so popular.
Since filming the event Travis is now recognised on the board of the Cannabis Culinary Association to be certified to cook with cannabis. June 2019, Travis will be conducting courses with 20 other individuals, teaching them how to infuse food safety. Those individuals will then also obtain certifications to legally be able to cook with cannabis.
